Warratina Lavender Farm

Yarra Valley and Dandenong Ranges

Enjoy the tranquil surroundings and breathe in the fragrances of lavender. Enjoy delicious regional fare and especially the homemade lavender scones. A wide range of Warratina’s lavender products and gorgeous gifts are available in the Gift Shop.

Warratina Lavender Farm is situated one hour from Melbourne at the foothills of the Dandenong Ranges, in the beautiful Yarra Valley. Warratina, a family-run business, takes pride in producing home-grown lavender products.

Although lavender is essentially a summer flowering plant, a winter visit to Warratina is very special indeed. Explore the lavender farm, warm up in their tea rooms after an invigorating walk in the Yarra Valley’s clean winter air. In the Tea Rooms, the Warratina team serves soups, pastas and delicious lavender scones. They even sell heat packs and local honey.

See the sensational winter flowering lavender in full bloom. This lavender is a specific French lavender with a deep purple flower & long stem. The fragrance is magic and fills the air especially after the rain. Its visual effect as a hedge is just fantastic. Stand amongst the lavender against the stunning backdrop of the Yarra Ranges in the distance. This is a great Instagram photo opportunity! Your photo could even feature as ‘pic of the month’ in the Warratina Lavender Farm e-newsletter.
