This travelling restaurant is a unique experience, providing visitors with a delicious rail journey in refurbished dining cars whilst enjoying unique views of Swan Bay and The Bellarine. The return journey departs from the historic Drysdale Railway Station, travelling to Queenscliff via Suma Park prior to returning to Drysdale. Indulge in a pre-departure beverage in Club Loco which opens 30 minutes ahead of boarding. This delightful dégustation dining experience is paced at intervals throughout the return journey. Bookings are essential. Take a ride on one of the handcarved wooden horses or relax and enjoy the spectacular views overlooking Corio Bay towards Melbourne and the You Yangs Regional Park, a significant cultural landscape in the traditional Country of the Wadawurrung People. The c.1892 Carousel was made in New York by the Armitage-Herschell Company and is one of only 200 in operation today. The fully restored Carousel includes 36 Dare horses and two accessible chariots. Also at the Carousel is a replica Band Organ, providing visitors with carnival-style music and the 1890 Herschell-Spillman Steam Engine, which originally powered the Carousel.
