Only 55km from Melbourne and 22km from Geelong, it’s an excellent spot to enjoy nature close to the city. Perfect for hikes and bushwalks, the views from the top at Flinders Peak (340m elevation) extend in every direction, with an incredible 360 degrees to take in. Along the way you may encounter Australian native animals such as koalas, kangaroos, possums or echidnas. Nearby, Serendip Sanctuary is made up of grassy woodlands and wetlands. It’s the ideal habitat for the 150 species of birds who live, breed and visit the sanctuary. The Wildlife Walk takes visitors on a stroll past emus, kangaroos and other native wildlife.
