An Island Paradise

This island paradise is a precious gem along the Victorian coast. With expansive sandy beaches, spectacular rugged cliffs, world-class surf spots and safe havens for bathing, Phillip Island’s coastline is one of its biggest draw cards and not just for people!

It’s a magical place for families with much to keep the kids entertained, and plenty for the adults too; award-winning wineries, restaurants and cafes serving fresh local produce, pubs with live music, farmers markets, surf carnivals, music festivals and more.

Home of the Little Penguins

Thousands of Little Penguins call the island home and every evening you can see them waddle up the beach at dusk to nest in the sand dunes of the nature reserve. The penguins arena is the only wild Australian natives who love life on the Island – A huge fur seal colony claims Seal Rocks, many dozy koalas live in the gum trees at the conservation centre and wallabies, echidnas and a wide range of bird species can be spotted in the bush and seen up close at wildlife parks.

THRILL SEEKERS & NATURE LOVERS

Another of the island’s greatest attractions is the Grand Prix circuit, which is considered one of the most spectacular venues on the Grand Prix calendar. Thrill seekers can drive hot laps around the track too or zip around the 750m to-scale replica in a state-of-the-art SODI Go-Kart.

If pedal power or scenic strolling is more your pace, then the breathtaking scenery along the coastal trails and through bush to inland lakes can be enjoyed by bicycle or foot.
